Knowing Jesus

Admit honestly to God that you have sinned and disobeyed Him.

The Bible says:

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:23

Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. His blood was shed to pay for your sins.

The Bible says:

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Confess that Jesus is your Lord.

The Bible says:

If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

If you are ready to commit your life to Christ, say this prayer, believing it with all your heart.
Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner. Lord the sinful life that I lived separated me from you. Lord, forgive me of my sins. I know I owe a sin debt that I cannot pay. I believe that you died on the cross and rose on the third day to pay the price for my sin. I'm sorry for my sins. From now on I will put all my trust in you. I want you to be Lord of my life. Please show me how to live the way you want me to. In Jesus’ name, Amen
