Liz Lowery
Liz
Lowery has been teaching all of her adult life. She
received her undergraduate degree in elementary and early
childhood education with a specialization in reading, then
she taught kindergarten for 10 years in the public school
sector. The past eight years have been spent home-schooling
her two children, Kaili, now age 14, and Nathan, age 11.
She and her husband, Lane, have been married for 18 years
and are active members at Warren Baptist Church where Lane
serves as Minister to Median Adults and New Members.
Other
than academics, Liz taught many Bible studies and women’s
Sunday School classes while serving at her previous church,
First Baptist Daytona Beach. She has been actively involved
in Women's Ministry at Warren Baptist as well, where she has
led women's life enrichment classes and spoken at women's
retreats and events. She currently serves in the student ministry at
Warren, teaching a class of 11th-grade girls, and
she is Speaking Team Coordinator for AFHG Ministries.
Romans
8:28 is Liz's life verse: And we know that in all things
God works for the good of those who love him, who have been
called according to his purpose. God has been faithful
to this promise throughout her life as He has revealed His
sovereignty and mercy.
In her
free time (What? She has free time??), Liz enjoys
being with her family, cooking, entertaining and, of course,
SHOPPING!
